Marriage and Family Life
“Home is a holy place” aims to develop among families, parishes and the wider Catholic community a vision of:
1.the holiness of the home as a place of life, love, service, teaching, fellowship, witness and prayer.
2. the presence of God as love in all loving family relationships.
“Home is a Holy Place” is about recognising and responding to God's presence at home with our families, in the ordinary events of our daily lives, in the deep joys and sorrows we experience together and in our relationships with one another, whether we are children, siblings, parents, spouses, friends or neighbours.

“Celebrating Family” is a project set up by the Bishops of England and Wales in response to the findings of “Listening 2004: My Family, My Church” to enhance the support that the Church offers to families in helping them to live out and hand on their Catholic faith.
That’s something that can be demanding and challenging, especially in today’s society, but now as ever it is something that can also be uniquely rewarding and satisfying.
