Ordained to Priesthood 2008

 

The decision to answer God’s call to the Priesthood was a leap of faith for me as I chose to trust in God, and overcome any rational doubts that I entertained.

Since making this decision I have embarked on a journey that has been the most challenging and rewarding of my life.

God showed me that it would not be through my own efforts that I became a priest, but through his power, in esscence, I did not choose him, but he chose me!

You can never underestimate the power of prayer and faith in one’s own life. Faith has and will sustain me, and experiences along the way have strengthened me and given me new purpose.

The priesthood is not an easy life, and  is not something to be rushed into lightly. Yet, nonetheless, the chosen path is rewarding as one enters, more fully into that mystical union with God, and at the same time gives freedom to commit oneself to the service of his people.
