Sharing rich experiences, following the call, and living out extraordinary vocations!   It has often been noted that we are all inspired to answer God’s call with a resounding “YES”, particularly when we see God working in other people’s lives. The best example of this is to find out more about the lives of the saints. However their are many people who touch our lives and have a wealth of experience to pass on to us to help us answer God’s Call in our own particular ways. We are often inspired by others, whether it be in marriage and family life, single life, priesthood or the religious life. Perhaps we are inspired to venture into a particular career such as nursing or teaching. Perhaps the example set by our own parents and family inspire us to become closer to God in that particular way. Some are inspired to dedicate their whole lives to the priesthood, following the call to love and serve the Catholic Community or perhaps by answering the call to dedicate their lives to God and for others through the ministry of religious life. “Be witnesses to Christ among other people....In this way give vigour to your lives as believers secure in committing yourselves to a great cause, and you will be able to perceive more effectively the voice of the Spirit. And if this voice calls you to a higher and more generous love, do not be afraid. Take courage: Christ is calling you and the world awaits you! Remember that the Kingdom of God has need of your generous and total dedication. Do not be like the rich young man who, when invited by Christ, was unable to accept but remained with his possessions and sadness, even though Jesus had glanced at him with love. Be like the fishermen who, when they were called by Jesus, left everything promptly to become fishers of men.” (Pope John Paul II: Vocations Message 1989) We hope that you will take a moment to reflect on some of the testimonials offered to you on this page.
