Based at Oscott College in Birmingham, the Vocations Centre has been open since January 2003. It is home to all vocational promotion, publicity, events, and to the priest's training fund.

 

Through our work here we demonstrate our commitment to promoting a vocational culture within our parishes and communities.

 

We do this through many ways, including various publications, fun and informative events, seekers meetings, our website, support for parish groups, videos, interactive CD Roms, podcasts, activity resources, informative presentations and visits to local schools.

 

The Archdiocese covers five counties: Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. There are 225 parishes, 209 primary, 39 secondary and 15 independant schools, the youth service, 10 university chaplains, 104 convents, numerous homes for the handicapped and elderly, 15 detention centres and prisons, and 122 hospitals and hospices!

 

People of God serve in all these places.
