Catholic Youth Service
Catholic Youth Services is an Agency of the Bishop's Conference of England and Wales.
Our Vision

To see young people and young adults enjoying the fullness of life as God intends, growing in their faith and experience of Christ, and fully participating in the life of the Catholic Church and society at large.
 
Our Purpose
As a national agency of the Bishop’s Conference of England and Wales, CYS seeks to add value and support to the work of the Catholic youth ministry community by working in partnership with all those committed to enabling young people and young adults to enjoy the fullness of life and to being an integral part of Church and society.
 
 
Youth 2000
Youth 2000 is an independent, international initiative that helps young adults aged 16-35 plug back into God at the heart of the Roman Catholic Church. Its main distinguishing feature is the emphasis it places on celebration of the Mass and Adoration of the Eucharist; next come a focus on active evangelisation and the organisation of retreats and spiritual events for young people throughout the world.
Bethany Family Institute
Bethany Family Institute was created:
    •    To connect those who practise or encourage marriage and family life ministry in the UK & Ireland & elsewhere
    •    To assist clergy, pastoral leaders, educators and catechists to reflect on various ways of serving families more effectively
    •    To offer educational opportunities for leaders in family ministry and spirituality
    •    To identify and describe the spiritual experiences and needs of families 
    •    To highlight and create resources for families in supporting their spiritual lives
 
 
Marriage Care
Marriage Care is a charity operating across England and Wales. Its purpose is to help people prepare for, achieve and sustain successful marriages and to support them should their marriages break down.

The Guild of Catholic Doctors offers you:
    •    Professional Support especially in matters of conscience affecting      your career.
    •    Informed Opinion about the implications of developments in medicine and social policy.

Catholics in Healthcare
Catholics in Healthcare is a new and developing web-based resource designed to help Catholics working in health and social care fields in England and Wales to network with others, access resources and support, and live out their vocation as skilled, effective and committed care workers.
Assumption Lay Volunteers
Assumption Volunteers are individuals aged 20+, single or married, who are willing to take up the challenge of living in a culture that is very different from their own. The volunteer programme is for those who wish to share in the lives of the poor, the young and the marginalized, both in the UK, and with Assumption communities around the world.

Christians Abroad
Christians Aboard works to serve the Christian community and beyond as an advice and support agency for individuals and organisations. We do this by giving advice and information; by responding to requests for volunteers or locally paid staff in schools, hospitals and community projects; and by giving practical help to individuals and organisations.
Soli House
A retreat centre working with young people aged 14-18 years. Opportunities for gap year work available.
Alton Castle
A retreat centre working with young people aged 9-13 years which uses indoor and outdoor activities as a way to bring about personal, social and spiritual development. Opportunities for gap year work available.
House of the Open Door
We are a residential Christian community of lay people. The community living at Childswickham House is made up of a permanent core of thirteen  members who have made a life-commitment, and another eight who have made this their home for varying lengths of time.  There are another 12 members who live in their own homes nearby. We include married and single people, and the "Single for the Lord" who have chosen a celibate lifestyle within the Community. The essence of our life together is to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ as an extended family.  
 
 
Catholic Parliamentary Internships
Now in its fourth year, the scheme will provide five recently graduated Catholics with an intensive experience of political and social action in a spiritual context. Three interns will be based with Christian MPs at Westminster, and two with Christian MEPs based in Brussels. All internships will run from September 2007- July 2008.

Association of Catholic Nurses in England and Wales
(formerly Catholic Nurses Guild )
It works to promote Catholic philosophies of care within nursing practice and to provide spiritual and professional support to Catholic nurse members working in healthcare.
The Association also links with other Catholic and professional agencies / Government and Non Government organizations to explore research and discussion of biomedical and ethical issues and current work practice in the context of social change and the teaching of the Catholic Church .
 
 
Caritas Social Action
We are a new organization that seeks to promote Catholic social action within the Church and in society as a whole. As an agency of the Bishops' Conference we have responsibility for carrying out the social mission of the Church in England and Wales. We are probably the largest Catholic membership organization and the only national agency promoting social action in England and Wales.
