Marriage and Family Life
“Everybody’s Welcome” asks us all to think about our parish communities; to celebrate them as places where individuals and families share in the life of the local Church, to worship God, support one another and also to reach out to the wider community.
But it also asks us to look at ways in which we might make our parishes even more welcoming and inclusive places, where everyone, whatever their family background or circumstances can feel themselves welcomed, valued and supported.

“Celebrating Family” is a project set up by the Bishops of England and Wales in response to the findings of “Listening 2004: My Family, My Church” to enhance the support that the Church offers to families in helping them to live out and hand on their Catholic faith.
That’s something that can be demanding and challenging, especially in today’s society, but now as ever it is something that can also be uniquely rewarding and satisfying.
