4th May 2019 - Called to Witness - Harvington Hall
This day offers young people, aged 18-25, an opportunity to reflect on the vocation of the lay and ordained in today’s world, in the light of the witness of the Reformation martyrs of our own country.
In the unique setting of Harvington Hall, we will celebrate the ‘ordinary people’ who bore witness to the faith at the cost of their lives, and consider what our witness to Christ calls on us to offer in our own day. What is the cost of standing out against the crowd ? Are we called to a form of martyrdom? What are the sources of grace in our lives? How can we deepen our appreciation of our own vocation?
The day will combine talks and discussion, prayer and reflection, the celebration of Mass in honour of the English Martyrs, and a special guided tour of Harvington Hall, all for a small charge of £10.
