St. Alban's College, Valladolid
My vocation journey began many years ago, while I was still a young boy. I had tried to ignore the call and put it to one side. But the feeling that God was calling me never left, until it got to the point a few years ago when I thought, “What’s the worst that can happen?”
I got in touch with the Vocations Office and they helped me in my discernment. Prior to joining seminary, I did a gap year in youth work at Alton Castle. Following an enjoyable gap year, I decided to go to University to become a primary school teacher. I then taught in many schools across Birmingham, the majority of them Catholic.
Having started seminary in September 2018, my prayer life and friendship with Jesus has deepened.
