FRATERNITY OF THE RECENTLY ORDAINED
The regular gathering of priests ordained fewer than 10 years.
Date: Sunday 18th - Tuesday 20th October 2026
Where: Woodland Grange, Old Milvertion Lane, Leamington Spa, CV32 6RN
Cost: Free of charge.
For: All priests in ministry in the Archdiocese ordained fewer than 10 years.
THE RETREAT FOR DEACONS
This year, we return to Belmont Abbey to be led by Abbot Brendan or one of the community for the annual retreat for deacons of the Archdiocese. Wives are also warmly welcomed.
Date: Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th October 2026
Where: Belmont Abbey, Rucknall Lane, Hereford, HR2 9RZ
Cost: £200 individual/£300 sharing *Almost fully booked - only 2 single rooms remaining.
For: Deacons and Wives.
ONGOING FORMATION DAYS FOR DEACONS
A programme of three annual sessions, in particular for those deacons ordained in the last 3 years. This is also a chance for diaconal fraternity, and lunch is included. The first session will be led by Dr. Christine Dodd, looking ahead to the Gospel of Saint Mark for preaching in Year B.
Date & Place:
*Saturday 31st October 2026 - Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Redditch
*Saturday 16th January 2026 - St. Mary's College, Oscott
*Saturday 26th June 2027 - TBC
Each day runs from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Cost: £90 for all three days (or £30 if attending a single session)
For: Deacons ordained less than 3 years should attend, but all deacons are welcome, as are their wives.
